Anyone that PHYSICALLY lives, works, worships, or attends school in one of the following counties:
  • Bledsoe
  • Cumberland
  • Fentress
  • Putnam
  • White
There is a $25.00 charge to become a member of Upper Cumberland FCU. There is also a monthly membership fee of $5.00, but you can AVOID this fee if you have at least one of the following:
  • Direct Deposit
  • Payroll Deduction
  • Loan with UCFCU
  • Online e-Statements with enrollment to E-Branch (Online Banking)
  • Maintain an aggregate balance of $1,000.00 everyday of the month
You Will Need:
ONE of these
  • Valid Driver License
  • Valid State ID
By law, we cannot accept any Military and/or Government IDs. Photocopying of any U.S. Government Identification is a violation of Title 18, US Code Part 1, Chapter 33, Section 701. Therefore, we are unable to accept any form of Military or Government ID for the UCFCU Account opening process. We do apologize and are so very thankful for any and all military persons or veterans who have served or are currently serving our country

AND ONE of these
  • Social Security Card
  • Medical Insurance Card with YOUR name on it
  • Voters Registration Card
We can also accept a valid Passport or Handgun Carry Permit as a LAST RESORT.

If your address is incorrect on your Driver License/State ID, you will also need ONE of these:
  • Current utility bill with address in the name of applicant
  • Current paystub showing name & address of applicant
  • Lease or Rental Agreement signed by both parties
  • Voters Registration card WITH current address
  • Property Tax Card
  • Settlement Statement from closing
MINOR Accounts (ages 18 & under only)
Child may be required to be present during account opening process. Minors who are 17 & under are required to have an adult (age 19 or older) on the account with them. Please see above for adult documentation requirements.

Yes, at this time we do NOT offer remote account opening. You (and anyone else who you wish to be on the account with you) will need to stop by Upper Cumberland FCU for the account opening process.
Each member has one vote, and by state law, UCFCU is required to have a membership meeting once a year. (Ours usually occurs in March) At the membership meeting, the membership elects the directors to run UCFCU. 
The members own UCFCU, with each member having one vote.
No one from Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union or any of its associations will ever solicit by phone or email any of your personal identity or account information. If you receive such a phone call or email, please hang up or delete the email and notify us. Giving out such information could lead to identity theft and losses.
