WHAT IS THE UNITED FUND?
In 1966 a group of people chartered United Fund to raise money to help people in our community. Through the generosity of many people this charitable organization now assists 33 agencies. These agencies aid the homeless, the hungry, victims of emergencies/disasters, adult and child victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, victims of crime, our military, citizens with brain disorders and disabilities, low-income families, the elderly and the county’s most precious resources, our children and youth. All this is outstanding and necessary, but the unique feature of United Fund is that nearly all the money stays at HOME, here in Cumberland County. UNITED FUND AGENCIES
